Fit for a Fiver review

by Emily Wills, She FITNESS member

I, like most people, value my weekends above anything else — the time to relax, have a lie in and not worry about the day to day stresses! So the thought of getting up early (ok not that early but in the context of a weekend anything before 10am seems early) to do exercise wasn’t top on my priority list. However, when you throw in the fact that the money you pay goes to a great cause and that its only $5 not even I can resist!

There was much persuasion to get some of my girlfriends to come with me but again they too signed up. So it was at 8:15 am on Saturday that we all found ourselves at my house, some with tender heads from office drinks the night before, in our gym gear contemplating whether this was in fact such a great idea.

We all traipsed off to Centennial Park to get our work out on! A fun 45 minute training session with a group of girls was just what the doctor ordered, feeling good not only for doing something energetic but also for supporting charities is a sure fire way to make you feel great on a Saturday! Check out She Fitness for next month’s Fit for a Fiver “good cause” training, it’s worth it for the feel good feelings!!
