When did you join She FITNESS?
February 2014— in typical 'New Year's resolution' style!
Why did you join She FITNESS?
I feel a lot more balanced when I do exercise, but I know myself well enough to know I can't push myself hard enough to see results and keep exercising regularly! Bootcamp is great for me because I like training as part of what feels like a team; it's not competitive and instead, it's about supporting one another, whilst pushing each other to get fitter and stronger.
What were your goals ? What did you want to achieve?
I wanted to be more toned, and feel fitter. I also wanted some stress relief!
How did you feel when you started?
To be honest, I thought I was a bit fitter than I actually was, so it was a bit of a wake up to get pushed in the first session! But it was great to feel like I'm getting fitter.
What changes did you make to live a healthy lifestyle?
To complement bootcamp, I've taken up running. I try to get in a big run on the weekend and maybe a walk.
How do you feel now?
Feeling great! I can really notice how much more balanced I am, and even at work, I have more energy. I also feel like I've made a bunch of friends which is really nice.
How will you continue to support yourself and live a healthy lifestyle?
What are your new goals?
Try and run the next Nike She Runs under an hour and keep feeling fit. Look good at my best friend's wedding in July!
