Blog - Member Spotlight: Sarah Tuite
Sarah is one of our newest members and has been training at our Coogee location for the past two months. She has shown great commitment and consistency, and in that short period of time, she has made big improvements in her strength, stamina and general level of fitness. On top of this, she is now finding that her jeans are feeling looser and that her friends are commenting on the physical changes that they see from her She FITNESS training. She is definitely achieving her goal of wanting to live a healthy lifestyle and we look forward to helping her get fitter, faster, stronger and firmer over the upcoming months. You’re doing awesome Sarah and it’s great to have you in our team!
1. How long have you been training with She FITNESS?
I began training with She FITNESS on 6th April this year and train twice a week at the Coogee location.
2. What do you do for a living?
I am a social care worker by profession but since arriving in Australia I have been taking a career break and currently work in High Cafe in Randwick.
3. What are your hobbies or interests?
I have to admit that I’m a bit of a tv addict but I have always been interested in sports and like to get out for a walk when I’m free. I also love a good ole boogie every so often.
4. What is your favourite thing to do on the weekend?
I generally work on Saturdays but when I’m off I like to catch up with friends, go for a walk, go to cinema etc.
5. What are your goals for 2010?
Well one of my main goals for this year was to start practising a more healthy lifestyle (diet and fitness). I feel like this goal is well underway to being achieved and the aim now is to just continue with what I have been doing so far.
6. What do you like most about training with She FITNESS?
This could take a while because there’s quite a lot I like about the group. First of all I really appreciate all the effort the trainers and management put into providing an extensive and effective programme for each individual. They show a genuine interest in the progress of their clients and give great encouragement with every step.
I also really enjoy the company of the other girls that I train with and everyone is very supportive of each other. And finally, I really like the monthly payment method. There isn’t the same pressure that most other fitness programmes have and I like the fact that I’m going because I want to go and not because I’ve paid for the year in full.
7. What is your favourite sport or outdoor activity?
I really enjoy gaelic football but haven’t played since college. I would also like to get back into swimming as an extra activity in my free time.
8. What results have you seen or felt since training with She FITNESS?
When I first started with SheFITNESS I was extremely unfit. I didn’t necessarily need to lose a lot of weight but really felt the need to tone up and increase my fitness level. In the space of 3-4 weeks I began to notice great progress and I was now able to keep up with the other girls who I had seen before as being very fit and strong. My jeans have also gotten a bit loose on me so I now have an excuse to go shopping.
Friends have also commented on my physical change which just further confirms how effective my training has been.
9. Any advice for future She FITTERS?
If like me you have been out of shape for a while and want a programme that will offer quick results and support and fun along the way, sign up with SheFITNESS. And don’t be disheartened after 1st or even 3rd session when you’re moving a bit robotic because of muscle pain, it really doesn’t last that long and the longer you continue to train, the easier it becomes and the prouder you will be of yourself for having overcome the toughest part.
Hope to meet you soon,
