Congratulations to Katie Fleming who is the She Fitness Surry Hills Member of the Month for September!
We are impressed by your dedication to your training, committing to nearly every session for the last month (and the past few months) including extras in the city. You also set the goal of attending at least 4 sessions a week through the end of August into September and achieved it. We look forward to supporting you and helping you to achieve your new goal of no alcohol for October and hopefully you will inspire others to take a similar challenge.
During your sessions you push hard no matter what the challenge and always have a smile on your face and we feel we are very lucky you have you as a valued member of the She Fitness community, especially in our She Fitness Surry Hills location.

When did you join She FITNESS
I joined She Fitness in November 2012
Why did you join She FITNESS?
My flatmate had joined and was loving the classes so I headed along…it also helped that the classes happen right on our doorstep!
What were your goals – what did you want to achieve?
Like most girls I know I wanted to lose weight!
But I have found that the morning classes not only help me to feel fit and strong but also wake me up ready to attack the day!
How did you feel when you started?
What changes did you make to live a healthy lifestyle?
I eat a pretty low calorie diet through the week and our trainers tell us the best type of meal to have after each style of workout which I find fantastic!
I am also now really aware of how sluggish I feel on the days where I can’t fit some form of exercise in- even if it is just simply walking to work each morning.
How do you feel now?
I feel the fittest I have been in a long time!
It’s so encouraging to see all of us getting fitter and stronger week after week and I really like how supportive we all are of each other and the motivation and positivity we get from our trainers Luci and Thomasine!
How will you continue to support yourself and live a healthy lifestyle?
I’ll keep heading along to the Surry Hills and CBD She Fitness classes!
I’m also at the beginning of a booze-free month for Octsober!
What are your new goals?
Continue to make it to 3 She Fitness classes per week, to get active and enjoy the sunshine through what is sure to be an awesome summer and to shed a few of those winter kg’s! J
